Known for capturing beautiful visuals and telling emotionally resonant narratives, Makayla brings warmth, emotional nuance and authenticity to whatever project she works on, driving action and impact for her clients. Her films such as The Springs: Jewels of Florida (2015), Wonder of the Blue (2018), and Double or Nothing (2024) reflect a deep love for the natural world and the resilience of the human spirit.

Born in California and raised in Florida, Makayla’s creative path was shaped early by time spent in the ocean and on horseback. She is a Level 1 freediver and PADI certified open water scuba diver. When not filming, you’ll likely find her diving, shell collecting, gardening, playing pickleball, or working out.
